The Naples train station is pure cacophony, the city is feels chaotic but lived in, the same way that Athens felt. Juking in and out of the way of others, we arrive at the food court. There’s a small old wooden piano in the middle of it. An older gentlemen (who doesn’t seem to work there) is manning the piano, another local walks up to him and they briefly exchange pleasentries, agree on a song; not long after I hear the piano playing the singing starts. Emblematic. Taking time in this busy place to embrace and savor the chaos of life. Make fun of it and with it.
