Deciding what we revere and preserve

Growth is not maintenance. We, as an American culture, need to decide what we revere and what we want to preserve and maintain. And it’s increasingly clear that what has been “made” more recently isn’t made to last. Look at the uptick in vintage, the return to analog, the desire to go back to a time when things were less ephemeral and extractive.
